Tokachi Outdoor Guide

I am definitely absorbed in Kayaking in summer. From spring to autumn, I wander from river to river to find swollen rivers. Although I like thrilling water activities at swollen rivers, however I also enjoy rafting at leisurely pace at limpid streams.

My favorite summer activity is fishing! It’s relaxing to spend my time doing some fishing at secret location. In winter, I spend most of time on snowboarding at mountain. This winter, I will try Powder Ski!

I came to Hokkaido 11 years ago. For this 11 years, I have learnt lots of things at outdoor activities companies. I always try to create a more hospitable environment for our customers.

I am a guy, love Hokkaido. I was grown up in Tokyo and spent 6 years at University and Graduate Collage in Abashiri, Hokkaido. The experiences in Abashiri affected me a lot in many ways.
I wanted to pursue what I really want to do as I only get one life. This is how I came to work at TAC.
Although I have just started my career here, I am trying to become a guide with good knowledge and skills.

I love to do Kayaking and Insect Collecting in summer, and Skiing and Snowboarding in winter.
It’s been only 5 years since I started Kayaking. To brush up my Kayak skills, I go to lots of places to see rivers and meet experienced guides.
In winter, I spent a whole day on winter sports with my friend and go to onsen (hot springs) after skiing or snowboarding. This is how I enjoy in winter season.

I extensively studied Environment Conservation and Environmental Research Techniques under Mr. C.W. Nicol at NCC (Environment Rangers Training Institution), and Outdoors Education and Risk Management under The sir Edmund Hillary at Outdoor Pursuit Center of New Zealand.
Now, I am working as a River guide, Mountain guide, Instructor and SRT-1 in Hokkaido.

I went up to town but came back here as I missed my hometown.
I always do my best to make our customers happy and make smile on everyone’s face!
